AID is a well established development charity working to fight poverty, Exclusion and strengthen people's participation in grassroots democracy in India. AID was founded in India in1982, the organisation evolved from the group of student activists and social scientists who felt the need to have a registered institute to provide support and technical assistance to volunteers community organisation working for total transformation.
