HO GAON MEIN - Community Radio program of AID is
realised as one of the major communication tools. IT largely
disseminates
awareness programmes on various government schemes to the poor people in the
far flung areas. A workshop on ‘NREGA for Gram Pradhans’ on 15th
March, 2007 was organised at Manika in Latehar District, jointly
by the local Block administration and ‘Chala Ho Goan Mein’ radio
project of AID.

Manish Ranjan inaugurated the session. Mr. Anil Kumar, Block
Development Officer presided over the workshop. The local
administration expressed its interest and cooperation to work
along with AID on creating awareness and conducive environment for
the villagers to access crucial information and empower the
villagers through welfare schemes. |
