Livelihood enhancement through complementary income earning opportunities and activities.
The following results are envisaged for promoting livelihood security.

Creation of income generation activities through sustainable use of forest resources for 1200 families (300 in year 1, 400 in year 2 and 500 in year 3) using lacquer, tamarind, mahuva flower and seed collection, leaf plate making using sal leaves and collection of herbal plants
Increased adoption of new technologies in lac cultivation, forestry plantation and water and soil conservation.
Promotion of sustainable harvesting practices of forest produces without affecting the trees for regeneration.
Creation of storage infrastructures for preserving forest products during peak season.
Co-operative and direct sale for forest produce without intermediaries.
Forest product information support and trade facilitation.
Increased access to micro credit and utilization of government subsidies to create additional employment.
