People at the Tsunami affected areas have
lost their jobs. There is no source of income for them except fishing
and the fishing-related works. Tsunami had destroyed the boats and other
machinery of fishing.
Some people do not want to pursue the fishing job due to fear-psychosis.
Those who worked in companies could not go back since these companies
have closed down after incurring heavy losses on account of Tsunami.
In this context, AID started training people for alternative livelihood
through skills training programme to restore their livelihood income.
